Take A Journey Through A Thorough Palette
By Marci Robin |
I'm writing this from Bethesda, Maryland-not my normal setting for DailyBeauty blogging, but wherever I go, beauty follows like a little lost puppy. In fact, I saw flying here to see family as the perfect opportunity to try out a travel-inspired makeup kit from Napoleon Perdis's fabulous Target collection, NP Set.
I already adored the Jet Set palette before I even opened it, thanks to its adorably chic, star-studded presentation; but once I laid eyes on the plethora of colors within, I gasped: instant obsession.
On the left were 18 gorgeous, truly wearable eye shadows, mostly neutrals, ranging from beige to brown to coral to black-every hue I could ever possibly want to wear. On the right are four blushes with bronze undertones-one's pretty much a straight-up bronzer-and four super-flattering lip glosses. (It also comes with three kinds of brushes.)
The shades in the Jet Set palette are basically all I need in general, so it was without hesitation that I made it the only makeup I took along on my trip to the DC area (aside from a separate mascara). There are so many pretty color combinations, I won't have nearly enough vacation days to try them all.
But even though the kit's name implies globetrotting, there's nothing that will prevent me from regularly using Jet Set in the comfort of my own home.
