A Blow-Dry Buff's Twist On Wavy Hair

There are a lot of things I miss about New York City. One of those things, I didn't even get the chance to experience before I left!
I'm talking about blow, a hair salon where the signature service is blowouts, which is how they gained their tag as "the New York blow dry bar." And if there's anyone who needs their help, it's blow-drying dunce, me.
I don't think they have any plans to open a South Florida locale, so while I can't casually stop in for a sleek styling session, I can reap the benefits of their product line. I'm an especially big fan of wave maker, as it's perfect for my wavy hair and the way I style it.
Blow calls wave make a "light twisting lotion," but it's more gel than lotion or cream-though not nearly as sticky or heavy as other clear concoctions. You divide your hair into sections-which I already do-run the protein-packed formula through your hair from roots to ends, and then twist and twirl the sections-which I already do-to create soft waves or curls.
Like I said, I already do two-thirds of what the directions ask, so the only difference is the major difference wave maker makes.
I admit, my waves would probably turn out even better if I was willing/able to implement a blow drier in the process, but even air-dried, my hair looks smooth, frizz-free and just plain luscious.
And if I ever move back to NYC-fingers crossed-I'll schedule my first appointment at blow while the movers unload their truck.
