A Vitalizing Vegas Spa Ritual

On a recent trip to Las Vegas, I had the pleasure of experiencing the MGM Grand Spa's signature treatment, the Dreaming Ritual.
Performed in the zen-like private lower level, this two-hour tribal-inspired service begins with a cleansing and exfoliating aromatic herbal foot soak and pressure-point foot massage (to eliminate tension from the bottom up), followed by an incense-smudging ceremony to cleanse the air and ward out any lurking negativities.
Next, I received a rejuvenating body-exfoliation mask, made from pure Australian Mapi mud, and a coordinating scalp treatment, which left my skin and hair feeling soft and refreshed.
Following a quick rinse in what would be my bathroom if space and money were no object, it was back into the treatment room for a soothing Aboriginal massage that transported me into a state of total relaxation.
Sad that my time was up, I emerged from the treatment room and enjoyed a soothing cup of tea, which helped to waken me and bring me back to reality. Hands down, this was the best treatment I had ever received. I never felt so relaxed, refreshed, stress-free and completely at peace, even if it was only 120 minutes of my life.
