Honey To Help Prevent Sun Damage

We all know that it's crucial to use sunscreen on a daily basis, but many chemical and physical sunscreens contain ingredients that can cause skin irritation and reactions. Since honey is suitable for sensitive skin and is a natural moisturizer, it is currently being considered as a substitute ingredient for some of the harsh chemicals found in most sun blocks.

Thanks to its natural antioxidant properties, honey also helps skin protect itself from the sun's damaging UV rays and also aids in skin cell rejuvenation.

Hello I was doing some research on honey and I came across your site. I think honey is great! I use honey in my weekly hair mud treatment called Rhassoul Deep Condish that I purchased from a British company called http://www.anitagrant.com On that company's ingredient page they talk at length about honey here's a little quote "Honey's humectant properties nourishes and moisturises everything it touches. In Thailand honey is used on open wounds to soften the scar tissue and encourage new skin growth. This may be due to the fact that there is a high concentration of sugars in honey that prevents the growth of bacteria on open wounds but it has never been scientifically proven. Self preserving: The low pH of honey prevents the existance and growth of micro organisms making honey a self preserving natural ingredient." I must admit that I'm a bit of a honey fan & love all types of toiletries that have honey in them. Keep it naturally sweet DailyBeauty. Warmest regards
