The Bronzer Of The Gods

Being the palest woman in Florida, I'm occasionally tempted to cross over to the dark side and try a self-tanner or bronzer. I've never been happy with the results, unfortunately-they always look incredibly unnatural on me, despite my genetic predisposition to tanning easily-so I raised an eyebrow when I came across Estée Lauder's new Bronze Goddess collection for the face.

I cautiously opened the oversized, metallic, copper-colored compact that holds the Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer. I picked up some of the oil-controlling powder on the contoured brush, and applied it along my cheeks and nose. One look in the mirror confirmed it: this is a great bronzer. For once, I didn't look like I slathered dirt all over my face. The slightly shimmery powder blended seamlessly with my fair skin.

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer is already available, and the rest of the Bronze Goddess line-including Luminous Liquid Bronzer and Loose Shimmer Bronzer-will hit Estée Lauder counters in March.
