There’s nothing like a cool swipe of a jade roller to quickly de-puff after a long night, but when prepping for an event like the Golden Globes, something a bit more serious is in order.

Case in point: the no-nonsense tool spotted in celebrity makeup artist Sarah Uslan’s kit when getting The Crown nominee Olivia Colman ready for the cameras.

Unlike many of their counterparts, Pause Well-Aging’s Fascia Stimulating Tool ($115) is an FDA-cleared Class 1 medical device that works to stimulate the collagen-producing cells within the fascia, aka fibroblasts.

According to the brand (and avid fans) the tool improves blood flow, supports cell turnover, amps up lymphatic drainage, boosts collagen production—all resulting in curbed sagging and better elasticity: the perfect equation for any Red Carpet look.

To finish off Colman’s look, Uslan relied on the magical trio of all-things Emma Hardie Skin Care, Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Foundation ($68) and a custom mix of Pat McGrath nude lipsticks.
