As the mother of three supermodels—Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid—as well as being a supermodel herself, Yolanda Hadid has made quite the name for herself. With over 3.5 million followers on Instagram, Hadid frequently uses her platform to spread awareness on health, wellness, and her lengthy battle with Lyme Disease. True to form, Hadid posted a photo of herself in lingerie honoring her 55th birthday and opening up about her wellbeing, physical beauty and aging this week.

In her caption, Hadid goes on to explain that she’s now “living in a body free of breast implants, fillers, botox, [and] extensions.” For someone with a long-standing history in Hollywood, it’s refreshing to hear of a celebrity who’s decided to go au naturel.

Previously, Hadid had revealed she stopped Botox and filler injections after being diagnosed with Lyme. Then, Hadid disclosed on an episode of Real Housewives that she decided to remove her breast implants after finding that she had silicone free-floating in her body back in 2016.

While we can’t help but love Hadid’s openness when it comes to cosmetic procedures as well as her positive outlook on aging, it’s important to remember that plastic surgery and injectables are a very personal decision. Whether or not you decide to indulge in these kind of treatments should be a decision made entirely on your own. However, always consult a board-certified doctor beforehand to determine the best course of action for your concerns—you’ll be happy you did!
