Jennifer Aniston is, as usual, at the top of her game, regardless of what the tabloids have been saying about her lately. With yet another movie in the works (it's called Dumplin’ and set to release later this year), Aniston wants everyone to know that she’s doing just fine despite her recent breakup with ex-husband Justin Theroux.First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken,” the actress asserts in a new interview with InStyle.  Instead, Aniston is focusing on exciting new projects and boosting her mental, physical and emotional health through exercise.

“Last year I discovered boxing, and I love it,” Aniston says. “It’s the longest workout I’ve actually stayed with consistently other than yoga. There’s something about the mental aspect of boxing—the drills, your brain has to work, you’re not just sitting on a bike. It’s amazing.”

However, Aniston’s love of boxing isn’t just because of the physical benefits—she also claims the psychological perks are a major pull for her, especially when there’s a specific someone in mind that she might feel like actually punching. Here’s what she had to say about that:

“Boxing is a great way to get aggression out. You get a mental release of all this crap you’re taking into your ears and eyes every day and have little fantasy moments imagining who you’re actually punching. I’m just grateful it’s not actually the person, even though there’s one person. You know what I mean. It’s all good.”

While we can’t be sure who that one person is that Aniston imagines punching, news of her recent divorce could be a good hint at who it may be. Nevertheless, whether she’s imaging a human punching bag or not mid-boxing session, Aniston is still getting a killer workout. Boxing is great for enhancing cardiovascular health and improving muscle strength, regardless of age or your level of fitness. Plus, with so many added mental and emotional benefits, why not give this Jennifer Aniston–approved workout a try yourself?
