Meghan Markle Says This Diet Change Made The Biggest Difference in Her Skin

Meghan Markle wasn’t always the duchess we’ve come to know and love, and as a new member of royalty, public appearances and interviews are super hard to come by. However, luckily for us, Markle was a successful actress before marrying into one of the most famous families in the world, and during her time on the hit show Suits, she gave a very candid interview to Delish, spilling all of her diet details.

During Suits’ shooting season, Markle claimed to eat much cleaner than usual, saying that the first thing she’d do each morning was drink hot water with lemon. Then, breakfast would consist of steel-cut oats with bananas and agave syrup. For lunch, Markle ate a salad with some kind of protein, and snacked on green juice or an apple with almond butter. Dinner, on the other hand, was a bit heavier and typically consisted of pasta with zucchini.
Even though Markle frequently enjoyed eating pasta, she also said that going gluten-free was a diet change that made one of the biggest differences in her body (we're assuming she liked to indulge in gluten-free pasta options as an alternative!). She claims that this decision made a major difference in how her skin looked on camera, but that’s not all that affected her skin. She also said that she eats almonds for a glowing complexion, and as a bonus, those healthy nuts are a great way for keeping you full between meals.
While it’s possible Markle’s diet plan has shifted a bit now that she’s joined the royal family, we can’t help but appreciate how her food diary as an actress sounds both healthy and delicious. If it’s good enough for a duchess, it’s certainly good enough for us.
