5 Celebrities Wore Glossier’s Brand-New Product to the Oscars

By ·

Glossier has been our go-to for second-skin makeup since its inception, but its latest launch is the first to stray away from the “no makeup” makeup look it’s known for. The cool-girl brand launched its creamy cheek color, Cloud Paint, at last year’s Academy Awards, and they’re back at it this year. Making its debut tonight on the Oscars’ red carpet, Lidstar ($30 for two) is a “glistening eye glow” that delivers a holographic-like sheen (read: replaces a handful of messy eye shadows) in a single swipe.

First seen on Beyoncé at the Grammys (but with no confirmation on the product name; we now know she was wearing shade Fawn), a handful of celebrities are now crediting their award-show glam to the brand-new product. After seeing swatches of the first gorgeous shades—Lily, Moon, Slip, Cub, Fawn and Herb—we can’t think of a better place to start.
