The Kardashians are known for their curves, but according to Khloé Kardashian, her curvy figure wasn’t exactly accepted by the rest of the family. During an episode of her show, Revenge Bodies, newly pregnant Khloé opened up about the pressures her famous family imposed on her to lose weight a few years ago, the DailyMail reports.

“[They said] “Khloé, you got to lose weight ’cause you’re really hurting the brand”, she said in the clip. “I’m a huge believer of it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it…I understand that was coming from my management side of my family, but it does hurt.”

This isn’t the first time Khloé has opened up about feeling like the heavier sister compared to Kourtney, Kim, Kendall and Kylie—she’s talked about it in multiple interviews in the past. “Right before [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] started, I thought I was in good shape, but I guess not good enough for Hollywood’s eyes,” she told People Magazine in a 2015 exclusive interview. “I didn’t realize I was the ‘fat’ sister until I went on TV and the media started saying that about me.”

In another interview with Complex Magazine, Khloé opened up again about her issues with weight and the public’s image: “I never looked at myself as the fat sister. Sometimes I would beat people to the punch and say, ‘Oh I’m the fat funny one,’ because that’s what people would say about me.”

Since then, Khloé has lost 40 pounds and helped countless others lose weight on her hit show as well. While she claims her slim down was for health reasons, we can’t help but blame her familial pressures as well considering her latest comments. Since her painful reveal, we can only hope the Kardashian family now realizes their brand shouldn’t include shaming members of their family into losing weight.
