Wet Balayage Is the New Way to Get Healthier, More Natural-Looking Color

By now you’ve probably heard of balayage, the highlighting technique that gives the most natural-looking color—and maybe you’ve even had it done. But before you settle in on the idea that balayage is the only way to get beautiful highlights and color, there’s a new type of balayage we are hearing about, and it just may be that much better than the standard version you’ve come to know and love.

Dubbed wet balayage, the practice involves many of the same steps as more traditional balayage, but with the exception that it’s done on wet hair instead of dry hair, which colorist and stylist Claude Baruk of Claude BARUK Salons in Las Vegas says gives natural-looking color while maintaining the health of the hair. “Beautiful hair begins with healthy hair. Balayage is my favorite method to apply color because the results are so gorgeous and natural-looking,” adds Baruk. “I use ‘wet balayage’ to ensure hair is healthy and personalized for every client. It’s a fantastic way to care for hair while giving clients beautiful, natural-looking color. This is the only technique in the world that I know of that is being used to apply wet balayage. There is no root effect with this technique, so there no rush to update color. You can even go several months, as hair grows out naturally."
Fall is a great time to change your look! I suggest wet balayage to naturally sweep warmer tones into hair. . . . . @WynnLasVegas #ClaudeBARUKSalon #Vegas #LasVegas #Wynn #Encore #Haircut #Hairstylist #HairLife #Balayage #FallStyles #FallHairStyles #ClaudeBarukCollection #Beauty #HairBeauty #Fashion #FashionBlogger
