For the past few weeks, every time I log on to Facebook, my feed becomes bombarded with people I actually know promoting a whitening toothpaste known as AP Toothpaste. Considering the fact that I’m pitched on beauty products all day, I quickly glossed over the posts—the last thing I need are friends telling me that I have to buy a product.
