Sure, it helps that the founder of Glossier, Emily Weiss, is also the brainchild behind the blog, Into the Gloss. Once the announcement was made on Weiss’s website that she was coming out with a beauty line, the orders started lining up and the brand was an overnight hit.

This naturally derived skin care line is more than just pretty packaging. The fact that it uses farm-grown botanical extracts coupled with scientific formulations for products that actually do good for your skin is the reason why it’s become an instant cult-classic.

Once we caught wind of this beauty brand, it seemed to be in nearly every YouTube tutorial and Instagram video we saw.
