So we had to ask: What are shoppers requesting sample-wise when they go?
According to Erin Thorpe of Space NK, the brand’s Brentwood Country Mart’s (its LA outpost) most in-demand asks are for eye creams and eye treatments. A few of the most popular: Natura Bissé Diamond Extreme Eye (store manager Sheri Guell says this pick is definitely number-one for what shoppers want to try), Chantecaille Stress Repair Concentrate, Derm Institute Youth Alchemy Eye, and the 111 Skin Celestial Black Diamond Eye Cream.

At its Nolita store in New York, facial cleansers and hair care products take tops. Think Eve Lom Cleanser, Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser, Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo and Conditioner, as well as the Ouai Hair Oil.
Thorpe says, in general, Space NK shoppers also request samples of brand-new products they haven’t heard much about yet, and it’s not something the store will ever sneer at. “Sampling is highly encouraged— whether that means taking samples home to try or sitting for a complimentary express facial treatment, makeover or dry styling in the store. We want our clients to feel confident they are getting the very best beauty solution for their unique needs.”
