Your Jaw Will Drop When You See How This Teen Recreates Famous Works of Art with Only Eyeliner

I’ll be honest: Watching beauty vloggers effortlessly create a flawless smoky eye in five minutes flat and shutting my laptop in a fit of anger is pretty much a weekly occurrence for me—yes, even as a beauty editor—because eye makeup and I just don’t mix. Because I consider it a (large) victory if my daytime gold eyeshadow is blended out properly, when I see women with impeccable eye makeup, I can’t help but stare in awe. But the wonder got brought to a whole new level when I stumbled upon 16-year-old Stefania Atupe’s Instagram account who’s gone viral for her art-inspired makeup.  Even more impressive? It’s all done with eyeliner

Atupe shared that her venture into this type of makeup started about a week ago when she took a stab at recreating a leopard-inspired look on her lids and succeeded. Confident that her steady hand could handle a more challenging goal after successfully completing multiple animal-inspired prints, she moved onto classical pieces of artwork right after. "When I posted the peacock design onto Twitter, a girl actually messaged me and said that it reminded her of a Van Gogh piece, and since I absolutely love Van Gogh, I decided I would try out Starry Night," she told Mashable. "I then just sat down and spent a good hour and a half just recreating the look, slowly outlining it and developing the colours! It took really long as there's so many different colours, and I really wanted to try get all the same colours and patterns as in the original painting," Atupe continued.

While we’re exhausted just looking at the result, Atupe didn’t stop there—next came her interpretation of Hokusai’s The Wave followed by Van Goh’s Almond Blossom.  If you want to try to achieve these looks at home (or if you've been looking for some highly pigmented products), her Instagram captions indicate that her go-to products are the NYX Vivid Bright ($7) and Liquid Liners ($4.50), Kat Von D Tattoo Liner ($20) and Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade ($18) for those perfectly sculpted brows. We wish you all of the luck!

These are so beautiful. Not only is the eyeshadow a work of art, but so are the brows! Attention to detail at it's finest.
