1. High-fashion designer Dolce & Gabbana has launched its first skin care line exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue according to BellaSugar. Aurealux features a five-in-one cleanser, a gel under-eye cream and a creamy moisturizer with a spoon scooper.

2. Karl Lagerfeld’s famous cat Choupette is getting her own beauty line. Yahoo! Beauty reports that the super popular kitty is partnering with Shu Uemura to create Shupette, a collection of makeup palettes, nail polishes and false eyelashes among other things in packaging created from Lagerfeld’s illustrations. The collection will launch in October on shuuemura-usa.com.

3. Forbes reports that retail therapy may actually make you feel worse. A paper written by Derek Rucker, a marketing professor at Kellog School of Management summarizes that when people buy things to compensate for their shortcomings, they feel worse and are less likely to improve.
