There’s a lot happening in the world of beauty. Rather than try to keep up with it all, let us help. Here is what you need to know today.
1. We all know that sleeping in makeup is very, very bad (if you need a refresher, click here) but what if your makeup is formulated for wear overnight? New products are being created to be worn for 24-hours or more—including a foundation from Boots that boasts a 24-hour wear time and improved skin if left on overnight. While many aren’t available in the States yet, a writer from the Daily Mail put them to the test. See what she found for each. Would you try it?
2. There’s nothing better than a multi-use product (at least for this very busy lady), which is why I am super excited to learn that NARS Multiples will now come in matte. If you’re not familiar with the line of makeup sticks, acquaint yourself. They’re great on lips, cheeks and brow bones to highlight, sculpt or enhance. The big news about the matte line? They can be applied dry for big color or with water for a more subtle finish, giving you even more options out of one product. Love it! They won’t be available until March 1, but you can get more info here.
3. Ryan Reynolds joins wife Blake Lively as a face of L’Oréal Paris. According to BellaSugar.com, the actor will be the face of the brand’s Men Expert skincare line. Read more here.
