There’s a lot happening in the world of beauty. Rather than try to keep up with it all, let us help. Here is what you need to know today.

1. Dermablend just launched a new campaign on their YouTube page and while you may have to bring out the tissues, it’s a must-watch! For those of you that remember the amazing ” Zombie Boy” viral video from a few years ago (if you need a refresher click here), Camo Confessions takes things a step further. The series features people that have used Dermablend’s powerful coverage to hide skin imperfections, like severe acne and vitiligo, in order to “stand out for who they are.” Not only are the videos incredibly inspiring, Dermablend is encouraging people to share their confession by donating $1 to Look Good Feel Better for every video that’s uploaded. To get inspired (and I mean seriously inspired) head to the Dermablend YouTube page

2. Live in New York or Los Angeles? You spend more on anti-aging products that anyone else in the country—at least that’s the findings of a recent NPD group study. The study, which is discussed on Fashionista, found that “24 percent of all anti-aging skincare sales in the U.S.” belong in either city. Other cities that made it to the top? Boston, Philadelphia Miami, Chicago, San Francisco and Washington D.C.

3. A new study by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery found that “selfies” are impacting facial plastic surgery. According to the poll of organization’s 2,700 members, “one in three facial plastic surgeons surveyed saw an increase in requests for procedures due to patients being more self aware of looks in social media.” For more information, visit the AAFPRS’s site
