There’s a lot happening in the world of beauty. Rather than try to keep up with it all, let us help. Here is what you need to know today.

1. Estée Lauder has launched a new line products designed to target adult acne. The Clear Difference line is a system comprised of the following: Clear Difference Advanced Blemish Serum, Clear Difference Targeted Blemish Treatment and Clear Difference Complexion Perfecting BB Creme SPF 35, which comes in three shades. Why are we excited about it? It’s one of the first lines created specifically for adult acne and in clinical testing, the anti-blemish treatment provided a 22 percent reduction in active blemishes. See more information on EsteeLauder.com.

2. If you use a mouthwash with alcohol in it, you should probably stop. According to a new study published in Oral Oncology, excessive use of alcohol-based mouthwashes can increase the risk of oral cancer. You can read more about the study on NPR but before you start swearing off all mouthwashes, note that ones that are alcohol-free are recommended as good alternatives. And, lucky for you, the Spring/Summer issue of NewBeauty has a few that we recommend.

3. SRI International, the people behind Siri, is working on an app that would allow you to get calorie counts simply by snapping a picture of your food. The technology is expected to be fully developed within a year and in the meantime you can read more about it on Time.com.
