2. According to a new study, Monday may be the worst day to weigh yourself. Researches from Cornell University found that almost everyone, even those of us that are thinner, gain weight on the weekends. Basically, thanks to the seven-days-a-week “human cycle,” our bodies are on a “weight cycle,” with the highest weight gain reported on Sundays and Mondays. The difference between people that gain weight and those that drop pounds? What the scale looked like during the week and whether or not they were doing something to compensate for the weekend gain. 3. Could your bikini wax put you in the E.R.? A recent study published in the journal Urology, found that for many people, it did. According to Laura Berman, PhD, “visits to the emergency room due to pubic hair removal injuries increased fivefold between 2002 and 2010.” But that doesn’t mean you should forgo waxing trips, it just means you should use caution.
