There’s a lot happening in the world of beauty. Rather than try to keep up with it all, let us help. Here is what you need to know today.

1. According to the Huffington Post, the Flip Manicure is taking off with celebrity fans. Inspired by R&B singer Ciara, sculpting gel or acrylic are used to create designs under the nails instead of on top of them. Anyone looking to take advantage of this trend can expect to sit in the nail salon chair for up to 2.5 hours and get a manicure that will last for about 2 weeks.

2. For women who just want a bigger bust for a party or island vacation, a simple injection is becoming a popular option. According to the New York Times, $3,500 can buy a “lunch time lift,” a saline injection that expands the breasts for about 24 hours. Originally designed for those considering breast augmentation surgery, more women are using them outside the doctor’s office.

3. Thanks to developers at N.C State University, a manicure can help stave off a sexual assault. They’ve created a nail polish that will change colors when exposed to date rape drug, reports ELLE.com. The logistics of exactly how the product will work are still being addressed as it’s still in the prototype stage, awaiting additional funding.

4. PRIV, an on-demand beauty and wellness app, allows users to book at-home services, like their favorite celebrities. It brings together hair and beauty stylists, nail technicians, fitness instructors, and massage therapists to give the everyday person their own beauty team. Read more about the app on Forbes.
