You may think of Shiseido as just another luxurious skincare and cosmetics company, but for the last two decades, they have been closely working with medical institutes to make a difference in the lives of those with serious skin problems.
This spring, the Japanese brand will be opening two Life Quality Beauty Centers in Taiwan. The goal behind these facilities is to make care accessible to people suffering from vitiligo and other difficult skin diseases and challenges. It will be the third of its kind, and the original location in Tokyo will be changing its name (from Social Beauty Center) to match.
Visitors will be helped by experienced, highly-trained beauty therapists who will provide advice and product recommendations. If you can’t be one of those visitors because of geography, worry not-Shiseido expects to reach overseas to provide the same kind of council to long-distance consumers in the near future.
