A Week With Chefsdiet.Com: Day 6 featured image

Day 6: 112 pounds

I’ll admit I’m a little disappointed that I’m at the same weight as yesterday, but I have to keep things in perspective! I tried on a few bathing suits that I bought for the honeymoon and I have to say, I like what I saw!

Breakfast
Eggs Benedict is one of my favorites, and I got my fix this morning-minus the Hollandaise sauce. (It came with the single egg, turkey ham and half of an English muffin, but I wasn’t sure how to microwave the sauce so I skipped it altogether.) The poached apple was cinnamon-y and delicious.

Lunch
I had a crazy day of running around today, so I wasn’t able to eat my lunch. My mom and I went to a restaurant, so I got a seared tuna salad with baby greens and the dressing on the side.

Dinner
I wasn’t too excited when I saw Grilled Chicken Breast with Cranberry Walnut Wild
Rice Blend and Zucchini Slices with Caramelized Shallots on the menu, but it was actually quite good. After six days, I’m starting to miss my regular snacks, but I’ve dropped three pounds, so that makes it worthwhile.

My fiancé was dying to try the Southern-Style Pulled Pork that I was supposed to have for lunch today. It was tossed with Hickory Barbeque Sauce and served with Old Fashioned Pinto Bean Bake and we both loved it, and wound up sharing.
