When socialite and uber-successful hedge fund manager Julie Macklowe had all of her beauty products confiscated by airline security during a flight to a wedding, she decided not only was it time to create a better skin-care line, but also present it in a kit that would make it past TSA. Thus was born the vBeaute “It Kit” from the Manhattan “it girl”, along with a whole line of anti-aging skin-care products that launched this week.
The kit comes in a sleek case filled with five botanically charged products in airline-approved sizes: Undercover Agent, an anti-aging serum; Rub Off, a gentle facial exfoliator; Evidence Eraser, the cleanser; Buying Time, the daily moisturizer and Eye Never, reparative eye cream.
Noteworthy ingredients include: Alpine Rose for its UV-protective properties that prevent damage to the skin, BioCellular Peptides to boost collagen production and repair the skin at a cellular level, and Niacinamide to clear up breakouts. “This is also some of the newest technology out there,” Macklowe says on her website.
The kit and full-sized versions of the products will be ready to ship on November 15. Check them out on the vBeaute website.
