Even though there are many debates on whether or not a toner adds any value to your skin regimen, I’ve had it as a part of mine for the past ten years. I’ve tried almost every single one of them. Most have turned out to be nothing more than a bottle of over-priced water with an fancy, old-lady scent thrown in for dramatic effect.
Prescriptives Immediate Glow Tonic, formulated for normal to dry skin, promised to hydrate, clarify, and sooth my skin. In addition, the marketing pamphlet stated I would see instant relief in redness and irritation.
Ten-plus bottles later, my enthusiasm love, and appreciation for the product is alive and strong.
What’s so special about Prescriptives Immediate Glow Tonic? First, the downright yummy scent. It has a nice orangy-citrus-fresh smell that isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t interfere with any other scents that you intend to layer on to your face. Second, the tonic is actually soothing. I have sensitive skin, especially around my cheek areas, and every other toner in the world dries me out. Although the liquid tonic is not thick in consistency, it sure feels like it has a great deal of substance to it, almost like a very light moisturizer/lotion. Third, it seems to make my other products happy. It’s true. When I go through the steps of applying everything else, I notice that the “everything else” seems to absorb better into my skin.
To say that I am completely in love with this formula would be an understatement.
