There’s a new option in non-ablative, noninvasive resurfacing, and it’s poised to match the popularity of its counterparts, like microdermabrasion and enzyme peels. This new exfoliation technique is called AquaRejuvenation.
During AquaRejuvenation, first, a powder of granulated fruit pits is directed at the skin to slough off dead surface cells. Next, water infused with active ingredients such as vitamin C, minerals, and various plant extracts is delivered to the skin via high-pressure micro-jets. The last step involves the application of anti-aging cosmeceuticals to boost results.
An initial series of three to five sessions spaced 10 to 15 days apart is recommended, followed by up to three maintenance sessions. The results: increased radiance, as well as reduction in fine lines, wrinkles and age spots.
