I have a “Why didn’t I think of that?” moment at least once a week while opening up packages full of new beauty products. It seems someone other than me always comes up with a clever innovation that I didn’t realize I needed until I lay eyes on it and it’s too late for me to cash in on the idea.
But it’s never too late to benefit from someone else’s beauty brainchild, which is exactly what I’m doing with my latest ingenious discovery, Mai Couture Blush Papier. The name sounds fancy, but the product is actually quite simple.
Picture blotting papers; but instead of sheer, colorless sheets that absorb oil, imagine peachy, rosy papers that add a gorgeous natural flush to your cheeks. That’s exactly what Blush Papier is, and I like to think it’s going to change the way we touch up when we’re out.
Instead of carrying a blush compact and a separate brush-because you know the one in the compact isn’t up to par-or refreshing your color with with a cream blush that leaves your fingers tinted, this perfectly portable option is a mess-free, foolproof way to get a soft glow when you start to look sallow (which I do pretty much every day around three o’clock).
I may have not thought of this crafty way to blush, but I’ll definitely be using it and recommending it as enthusiastically as if I had.
