As much as I love it, bronzer has not always been kind to me. For as long as I’ve been wearing makeup, I’ve tended to go overboard with this one little product. The more I like a particular shade, the more I pile on, and, no matter what the mirror may say, the light of day and the flash of a camera don’t lie-too much is not a good look, no matter what season, skin tone or outfit you’re sporting.
But I think I finally found one that’s foolproof (even if my application skills are still not fully finessed): BeautyADDICTS Hydra SUNRays Bronzing. It looks only slightly darker than a medium-shade foundation in the container, but, when it’s on my skin (I’m pretty pale with pink undertones), it makes me look like I’ve been sitting out by the beach for just the perfect amount of time to get to the ‘sun-kissed’ stage. It’s very sheer and there’s absolutely no sparkles or shimmers, but it somehow creates a natural-looking glow (with the help of the pearl powder–packed formula) that’s easy to build on without getting to the bad place.
