• It not only causes cavities, but it can wreak havoc on your dental work, too. Hard or sticky foods such as mints and candies, can actually damage your veneers, crowns or bonding. So just say no to the Laffy Taffy and Dum Dum Pops.
• You will get fat-faster than you would eating fatty foods. And you can blame much of that on your sugary drinks, according to recent research by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
