I had a little time to spare last Saturday, so I treated myself to a mid-afternoon Borghese Cura di Vita Deep Hydration Facial Peel-Off Mask. At first, I was alarmed when I opened one of the six individual tubes and saw that it was robin’s-egg blue. Then, I started to smooth a thin layer of the glue-like mask over my face. It was a bit sticky, but I quickly figured out how to put it where I wanted it-mainly away from my hairline and eyebrows. I immediately felt a cool sensation, and then the mask started to dry and form a shrink-wrap-like layer over my entire face.
After fifteen minutes and a few inquisitive face sniffs from my dog, I was able to pull off most of it in one single sheet that felt like latex (although there were a few spots that needed to dry more-next time I’ll leave it on a few extra minutes). Aside from a few stubborn patches that required some rubbing to remove, I was left with a healthy flush, super-soft skin and no residue, so it was easy to put on a little makeup right away and continue with my day.
