One thing to consider is that SPF is key when treating or addressing any hyperpigmentation - There is a large amount of products over the counter as well as prescription, hydroquinone and non-hydroquinone as well that address hyperpigmentation. All your efforts will go to waste if proper SPF of 30 or higher is not use at all times. You can achieve good results but the moment the unprotected skin is in contact with any sun exposure that pigmentation will return if not worse than before. Another thing to consider is to address the root of the problem by using a pigmentation corrector first then your SPF and your Foundation. This way you will be addressing all areas of concern and will be protected. Pigmentation is hard to correct so be patient - But using proper coverage will ease the process! :-)
