A board-certified dermatologist with a special interest in pediatrics, Dr. Trowers successfully combines traditional dermatology with a thriving cosmetic practice. “My philosophy is that once people are educated on the principles of skin care, almost everyone can achieve great skin,” she says. Dr. Trowers offers a full range of injectables. Chemical peels and laser hair removal are also popular treatments. “Regardless of what someone comes in for, we reserve 10 minutes for individual consultations on how, together, we can improve the appearance of their skin.”
In addition to her talented aesthetician, Dr. Trowers has surrounded herself with a caring, tenured staff whose specialty is hand-holding—both literally and figuratively—during and after procedures. “It’s a comfort for patients and softens what could be a very clinical atmosphere,” she says. Aside from her considerable training, Dr. Trowers bases many of her aesthetic recommendations on her personal experience and that of her staff. “We are a living lab; every product and treatment has been tried by our staff, so we know what works.”

My role is to provide my patients with the proper information, so they can make a more informed decision.” Dr. Trowers’ unusual Jamaican/German heritage makes her particularly sensitive to a diverse population with specific skin-care needs.
