Can a facelift remove or reduce neck fat that might be otherwise removed in a necklift?

Yes, usually when you're doing a facelift it's really a face and a neck lift, usually the two are in continuity and when you're doing the procedure you usually remove the fat from the neck so you can get good contour that most women are trying to gain.

Not by itself but in a lot of patients we'll combine the actual surgical facelift with neck liposuction. Once the fat is removed from the neck, if they have a lot of fat they'll have a lot of looseness, you almost need to do a facelift to get that skin elevated.
