Ultrathin, or prep-less, veneers help rework misshaped teeth; and do away with chips, cracks and dis- coloration. I use these contact lens-thin veneers to close gaps and fix misaligned teeth, improving patients’ smiles. They look natural and don’t require a drill or the administration of shots to put them on, which are aspects of the procedure patients particularly like. Prep-less, ultrathin veneers can also help revitalize old dental work and don’t require the removal of tooth structure. Additionally, they also eliminate the need for multiple dental visits because there is no need to wear temporary restorations until they are created. This translates into faster results. On visit one, I talk with patients about what they want their smiles to look like. On the next visit I put them on. It’s as simple as that.
