Are breast implants affected by pregnancy?

Not the implants themselves; however the breast tissue will act exactly the same as it would without an implant. For example, if the breast was going to enlarge significantly, it will still do that. Some patients are lucky and even after pregnancy the skin contracts back over the implant nicely. Other patients have thinner skin and develop excess skin and stretch marks and might consider a breast lift after their childbearing years.
