Step 1­: Make the Braid

Celebrity stylist Enzo Angileri parted Charlize’s hair on the right side and made a braid at the nape of the neck. “I made the first braid gradually larger and looser as it reached the opposite side and secured it with a pin,” he says.

Step 2: Double Up

Next, Angileri took the remaining hair and created another thin braid just above the first one. The two braids were then directed toward the left ear. Once the braids were complete, Angileri twisted them together in a round, low bun and pinned them.

Step 1­: Add Texture

Gather hair into a high ponytail at the top of the crown. “If the hair is too straight it will not bend. Set the pony on hot rollers or curl for movement,” says celebrity stylist Paula Ivins Kingston of Lucid Salon. Spray loose hairs and smooth back.

 “I blew the bangs to the side and, using that same round brush, I brushed out Stacy’s curls with her head upside down. That really gives it that sexy messed-up look.”
