Dr. Parfitt therefore suggests you educate yourself on products, procedures and physicians. “I’ve built a comprehensive Web site that shows a multitude of before-and-after photos, describing the techniques employed for each procedure so patients can learn about the numerous options available. Prospective patients can also virtually tour my facility online, learning more about the practice, staff members and services we offer. I have found that when patients feel involved, they can better discern between hype and credible information.” The Web site paired with his one-on-one consultations start his clients on a well-informed path to facial harmony. “During the consultation, we figure out if surgery is in tune with the patient’s needs or if a visit to AestheticA would be a better option,” says Dr. Parfitt.
