Located throughout the employee workspaces of Dr. Richard C. Parfitt’s clinics are signs that summarize his standards succinctly: “Perfection is the goal. Dr. Parfitt’s Wisconsin practice is split into two nonsurgical skin-care clinics (AestheticA), and a surgical clinic where he performs all of his surgeries. “Our broad range of surgical and nonsurgical options and comprehensive approach to beauty are very reassuring to patients looking to address a wide variety of aesthetic concerns, in one all-inclusive location,” says Dr. Parfitt, whose zeal for beauty extends far beyond his patients. His elegantly appointed, spa-like office is brimming with plush chairs; a gleaming collection of glass art; and recovery suites outfitted with heated lavatory seats, cable television, music and movies. “Every detail of my practice is a reflection of my exacting standards and constant pursuit of perfection. I have handpicked a fully trained team that upholds my stringent levels of care, helping patients feel right at home.”
Another set of boldly printed signs reminds each employee of another of Dr. Parfitt’s guiding philosophies. These signs read, “Patients before profits.” “There’s a great deal of hype surrounding new cosmetic products and procedures,” cautions Dr. Parfitt. “We have a rule in all of our clinics to never offer new services or products until we are certain of their safety and ability to produce consistent results we can stand behind. We have our standards and we stick to them.”
