WHAT IS YOUR GOAL FOR EACH COSMETIC PATIENT YOU TREAT?
I have a vision for each patient before we begin treatment. I know my patients want natural-looking results so my goal is to improve and accentuate their features in a manner that whispers rather than screams.
WHAT ABOUT THE FIELD OF DERMATOLOGY FASCINATES YOU MOST?
I am fascinated by technology that stimulates new collagen growth, such as EndyMed PRO and Pellevé as well as Thermage and Accent— radiofrequency devices that tighten and contour the face and/or body, respectively, with little to no downtime. We now have a loyal following of “radiofrequenters” since these procedures enable us to tighten the skin, including the eyelids, without surgery.
WHAT OTHER INNOVATIONS OFFER EFFECTIVE RESULTS?
We can lighten brown and red spots with IPL or Vbeam® technology, and smooth the skin and minimize pores with Pixel. Dermal fillers like Juvéderm®, Restylane®, Perlane® and Sculptra® Aesthetic restore volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds. Other injectables like Botox and Dysport temporarily relax the muscles that cause facial lines to form, and complement the use of fillers for a more complete cosmetic result.
