ASK DR. MARSCHALL
Q: I am considering aesthetic rejuvenation but don’t want to look overdone. What face, breast and body treatments will help me renew youth while still looking like myself?
A: With every treatment I perform, my goal is to renew, rejuvenate and revitalize. My feeling is that work should go undetected, garnering a rested, youthful appearance as opposed to a pulled or taut look. It’s important to establish realistic expectations to ensure this happens. My facial rejuvenation procedures run the gamut of laser resurfacing to improve skin tone and texture, to facelift and eyelid surgeries that correct sagging, laxity, excess skin and droopiness. I offer less invasive variations when I don’t feel extensive intervention is required, which helps achieve subtle results. In terms of body and breast procedures, it’s not uncommon to see women who are dissatisfied with the shape and positioning of their breasts after giving birth. Breast lift and augmentation surgeries can help. Liposuction and abdominoplasty are other frequently requested procedures that can further refine patients’ appearances. It’s always been my belief that a conservative approach will yield the most natural results.
