Retin-a is the # 1 prescription topical treatment. Its the best thing you can do for your skin. Actually has been used to treat acne for ages and as we treated acne patients we realized they had fewer wrinkles. Talk about serendipity - You think you have an acne treatment but you also get smoother texture, smaller pores, diminish of lines, wrinkles and an even complexion. The problem with retin-a is that many patients do not listen to proper instructions. This is not a moisturizer and is dosage dependant. Also if you overdo one week and skip the next you are doing yourself a dis-service. You need to use it properly and at the concentration thats right for your skin type, condition and time of the year. I have been treating myself and my patients for many years with Retin-a and you will be amazed at what it does. It's also a wonderful way to prepare the skin for chemical peels, lasers, ipl's and more. You have nothing to lose - ONLY gain healthier skin that looks and acts healthier and younger! Make all your friends GREEEEEEN with envy! :-)

Retin-A is not a good treatment for acne! It does nothing but cause more pimples.

The Antidote to Aging and Acne is Retin-A! I posted for another Anti-Acne article Sephora carries very effective, pharmaceutical grade retin-a products! DERMADOCTOR, PHILOSOPHY, PETER THOMAS ROTH all have excellent choices. Korres has a great natural form of retin-a line called Quercetin & Oak, hands down fabulous and highly effective.

Thank you for this. I have been breaking out lately and have NO idea why! Nothing has changed in regards to topical lotions, birth control, etc. However now I'm thinking it may be due to my diet...
