“Never say never” is probably the safest stance to take when it comes to plastic surgery, at least for celebrities. It prevents backlash with fans and the media, especially if they happen to get a cosmetic procedure after once speaking out against it. Needless to say, being anti-plastic surgery may come back to haunt them as they get older.
That’s exactly the stance that Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is taking—the safe one. “I'm not opposed to it but I want to move my face because I'm supposed to convey emotion in my job,” Paltrow said in a recent interview.
While she has no current plans to go under the knife, she says she is open to it in the future. “I have wrinkles so I don't know. I am not going to say that I'll never do anything, but I would always want to look like myself.”
