Dr. Heimke’s appreciation for his patients’ time is expressed through what he calls “FAD smile makeovers,” which can be achieved in as little as a few hours to a few days. “I try to envision almost immediately where to go with each FAD smile,” says Dr. Heimke, who describes the practice as intentionally intimate with a high level of individual attention. “High volume would interfere with the need for patient privacy and uninterrupted time. Mindful scheduling allows us to totally concentrate on each patient without distraction. Our pace helps patients relax.” Such diligence helps the doctor ensure he meets the goals of each patient. “My favorite part of the smile design process is after completing a case, when I give the patient a mirror and watch their eyes charge up when they see their results. You can feel the electricity and know that a life-changing experience just occurred.”
