Paul M. Friedman, MD, board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, is the Director of the DermSurgery Laser Center in Houston, Texas. He was educated in dermatology at the New York University School of Medicine, one of the top dermatology residency programs. He trained in dermatologic laser surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.
Dr. Paul M. Friedman, board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, is the Director of the DermSurgery Laser Center in Houston, Texas. He trained in dermatologic laser surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York. Dr. Friedman has authored over 50 medical articles and book chapters, and has been featured in several periodicals and magazines—such as The New York Times and the Houston Chronicle, as well as Harper’s Bazaar, Good Housekeeping and Family Circle. He has appeared in over 30 news programs on the FOX, ABC, CBS and NBC networks.

Dr. Paul also conducts medical research, which has resulted in significant contributions to the field of laser surgery. “Remaining state-of-the-art is a function of making the necessary investments in both technology and advanced training. I had a unique timing advantage,” he says. “A great deal of laser technology evolved while I was still in training, giving me incredible exposure and experience. I have since been invited to help refine, determine optimum treatment parameters and train other physicians on modern technology.”
