“While I enjoy performing LASIK treatments and reconstructive procedures around the eyes, I find the cosmetic portion of my practice the most rewarding; it gives me the opportunity to enhance the lives of patients, relying on my honed skills as an eye-area specialist.” Dr. Eviatar boasts a worldwide patient following as a skilled injector of facial fillers and Botox; and is a physician trainer and consultant for Botox, Juvéderm™, Radiesse™, Sculptra™ and Restylane®. He is often featured in the press, working with a talented team—including ophthalmologist Christopher T. Coad, MD, FACS (pictured right), who specializes in anterior segment and cataract surgery with advanced intraocular lenses and LASIK. They are currently compiling data for an abstract to be presented at the next annual American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting, to prove the efficacy and safety of LASIK surgery in patients with HIV. Fellowship trained in oculoplastic surgery, Dr. Eviatar enjoys working with his aesthetic team (which also includes a well credentialed aesthetician and plastic surgeon). Dr. Eviatar is also a participating physician in a pilot study for Relaxed Expressions (to reduce frown lines). He was recently featured on CBS performing the procedure, and administering Radiesse injections via a technique that helps decrease post-treatment bruising. An investigator in FD A studies for Sculptra, as well as BioGlue® for brow lifting surgery, Dr. Eviatar is a clinical instructor at New York Medical College, as well as director of oculoplastics at SUNY College of Optometry—his dedication to education is self-evident. “Our philosophy is to be less invasive and produce genuine results,” says the lecturer, researcher and physician.
