Dr. Joseph Eviatar is a skilled injector of advanced facial fillers and Botox®, and is often sought out for treatments around the eyes as well as areas of the face. “Because my training is so specialized, I am able to concentrate on aesthetic-enhancing procedures directly related to ophthalmic plastic surgery, staying at the forefront of my field,” says Dr. Eviatar, who has performed thousands of blepharoplasties and browlifts, among other procedures.

“While I enjoy performing LASIK treatments and reconstructive procedures around the eyes, I find the cosmetic portion of my practice the most rewarding; it gives me the opportunity to enhance the lives of patients, relying on my honed skills as an eye-area specialist.” Dr. Eviatar has been chosen to be a lead investigator in FD A clinical trials, most recently for a glue to lift the eyebrows. He is a physician trainer and consultant for Botox®, Juvéderm™, Radiesse™, Sculptra™ and ArteFill®, and is often featured in the press. He works with a talented team, including ophthalmologist Christopher T. Coad, MD, FACS (pictured right), who specializes in anterior segment and cataract surgery with advanced intraocular lenses and LASIK.
Fellowship trained in oculoplastic surgery, Dr. Eviatar enjoys working with Dr. Coad, as it provides him the opportunity to narrow his focus on treatments relating to his true passion: aesthetic enhancement of the eyes and the surrounding eye region. “Once patients correct their eyesight, it’s natural to consider eyelid rejuvenation or a browlift. People are pleased to discover they can have their procedures performed in one place by physicians with whom they have warm relationships.” As a clinical instructor at New York Medical College, as well as director of oculoplastics at SUNY College of Optometry, Dr. Eviatar’s dedication to education is self-evident. In addition to cosmetic surgeries, Dr. Eviatar is skilled in facial rejuvenation with advanced fillers. “Our philosophy is to be less invasive and produce genuine results,” says the lecturer, researcher and physician.
