Katie Couric’s skin treatment of choice

Posted Tuesday, January 02, 2007

When Katie Couric was on Today, we always wondered how she looked so great despite being up before 4 a.m. Now we know her secret! The SilkPeel is a rejuvenating, 20-minute, simultaneous exfoliation and serum infusion.

Delivered using a patented diamond wand, SilkPeel is the next generation of microdermabrasion. This unique technology eliminates the need for abrasive particles while allowing for a customized serum infusion to effectively treat not only fine wrinkles caused by dry skin, but also hyperpigmentation, and acne. As diamonds gently exfoliate the top layer of skin, a targeted serum is delivered, immediately bathing the tissue in skin-plumping hyalronic acid, clarifying kojic acid, or breakout-banishing salicylic acid. In less than a lunch hour, SilkPeel patients can enjoy the luminous results of a medical grade chemical peel without the uncomfortable and long healing process. The soothing, crystal-free procedure rapidly removes uneven patches of skin, signs of sun damage, fine lines, and break outs. Additional benefits include reduction of puffiness and firmer muscle tone via lymphatic massage and collagen stimulation.

I've had a silkpeel treatment, and my ex-wife, too. We both loved it and she saw incredible results for her acne after the very first treatment!!

I have had a few silk peel treatments and my skin is softer with less lines. Most of all I see a difference in the skin of my neck which is firmer and gives me a younger look. Couldn't be happier

What about broken capillaries caused by the microdermabrasion or iritating the broken capillaries you already have?

I've had a couple of SilkPeel treatments, and they were GREAT! My boyfriend was amazed at how my skin was so soft and smooth and bright. He also commented on my smaller pores and how many less blackheads he saw. It was a safe, relaxing experience. Not like harsh crystal microdermabrasion treatments at all.

To Melissa Z and any others with questions or concerns about SilkPeel, I found the official website at www.SilkPeel.com. They have lots of information, and people you can contact if you don't find the answers you're looking for on the web.
