A breakout-busting makeup primer

Maybe it was stress. Maybe it was hormonal. Or maybe it was about time I got my fair share. Whatever the reason, one thing was clear: my usually blemish-free complexion wasn’t. Pimpled and red, my skin was beyond inflamed, but luckily, not beyond repair.
When I came across Alison Raffaele Face Forward Primer: Acne Response—a foundation primer, acne treatment and SPF 15 all in one—I was optimistic. I had tried over-the-counter blemish busters, but nothing had worked; and the primers I'm used to weren't made with broken-out skin in mind. But this saved face, so to speak.
It quickly cleared up my blemishes in a matter of days without overdrying or irritation. Best of all, its transparent, moisturizing formula and velvety consistency made my face a more supple, soft canvas for foundation.
