How long will your faux tan last?

Posted Friday, September 04, 2009

After application, you can expect most self-tanners to last about five to seven days. However, how long your resulting color will last depends on several factors.

The main factor, as you may have guessed, is the quality of the product. Sometimes, you have to put your money where your tan is if you want it to last longer.

One fade factor you may have not realized, though, is your age. The older you are, the longer your tan will likely last. Since younger skin naturally exfoliates faster, tanned skin will slough off more quickly.
