Few things are more disheartening than trying to repress the memory that the lipstick you’re holding in your hand (and scraping every last bit of) is discontinued.
Last year, MAC Cosmetics gave us the opportunity to mend our broken hearts and launched MAC By Request—a promotion that gave fans the chance to vote and bring back their favorite discontinued lipstick and eye shadow colors. Thankfully, it’s back for a second round and we have another chance to get our hands back on some of our beloved but departed shades.
The concept is simple: from now until July 21, visit the MAC By Request page on Facebook and vote for your favorite shade from each category. You can take your vote to Twitter using the hashtag #MACBYREQUEST for an even better chance to win.
This year, MAC’s classic 1990’s line-up is what we’re voting on. The top three hues in each section will be brought back to life and available for purchase in the spring of 2014!
