Upbeat and likeable actress/producer/director Drew Barrymore is no stranger to the beauty world. Remember those CoverGirl ads she starred in? Drew was actually co-creative director of her own campaign. She’s currently back in the beauty biz, this time with her own line of makeup named Flower, available this month at Walmart.

The line, manufactured by Maesa, is made up of over 181 eye, face, lip and nail products ranging from $5 to $14, and will be available in more than 1,500 Walmart stores (and online at walmart.com) by the end of January. Formulated with the high-quality ingredients used in department store formulations, Flower is inspired by the luxurious products that Barrymore has used throughout her career. “I have grown up in a make-up chair. I loved watching women in this aspirational environment. But it was and always will be important to me to send messages of empowerment. And on a business level, I wanted to give women the finest formulas. They deserve to have that level of quality, and I wanted to be the brand that delivers that to them,” Barrymore says.

If you ask us, the products certainly compete with the more expensive, department-store competitors from the quality to the pretty packaging. We love the Zoom-In Ultimate Mascara ($8) with an adjustable brush to create the perfect length, thickness and curl.

“Drew has brought her passion and knowledge of premium cosmetics to Flower,” Petra Tucker-Moss, senior director of product development and marketing at Maesa. “Her first-hand knowledge of luxury cosmetics allowed Drew and Maesa to collaborate and develop a makeup line that delivers on its promise of bringing premium quality make-up to mass.”

Which Flower products have you tried so far? What’s your favorite?
